Blog friends

I love my blog friends. And a real-world friend just started writing today. So I thought I should introduce some of my favorite reads!

I think you should meet some! While this post is a bit long, I really do think each blog presented here is worth looking into.

Some wonderful writers:

The Whispering Writer. She cracks me up without fail. She is full of sarcasm and honest commentary that hits my funny bone each and every post.

Caroline. Her posts make life seem like a vacation. She stops to smell the roses and reminds her readers to do the same.

Micaela and her twin, Marz, are sweet lovable personable girls. With blog connections and give-aways to boot.

Carolyn shares her life on this blog and has a sister blog about her switch to a vegan lifestyle.

Annie writes about her life with chronic illnesses. She includes poetry that speaks from the soul. And she is the one to blame for my recent addiction to We Heart It images.

Lovely Little Nest is a sweet homemaker who talks about design - ooo la la...... eye candy is always on her blog.

Marta is a wonderful writer with all sorts of tips on blogging... plus she has regular give-aways. Oh my!

Will is just so thoughtful and thought provoking.

Some creative inspirations:

Alisa Burke. An amazing artist who pushes the boundaries of what art is. Not only is her finished product inspiring, but she even shares step-by-step instructions for some of it!

Aimee has fabulous art "doodles" that make every day seem bright and sunny.

Heather makes these wonderful characters that inspire old-timey values.

Katie makes me happy. I am always leaving her blog wanting to make my world more colorful. I also love the fact that she does art in public spaces to inspire others - even those not in her blog world.

Lee shares her art journal pages on an regular basis to inspire her readers to share their own work. Something I aspire to do someday soon... I'm just bad about scanning in my sketchbook.

Diana Trout is the author of Journal Spilling and shares her artwork on this blog.

Janet is hilarious and creative. She is way too modest about her collages and doodles, but always inspires me in spite of herself.

Wedding planning juicy goodness with lots of DIY fun. Even though my wedding has come and gone, I am still loving the ideas this blog producers.

Kira is a wonderful humble self-taught art journalist who shares tips, blogs, vlogs, you name it.

Roben Marie also art journals. And she shares photographs and other inspirations. Visual yum.

Post Secret. Sometimes its funny, sometimes it is serious... but it always makes you stop and think. Sometimes other people's secrets are my own. Other times they are just important reminders. Regardless, they are never disappointing.

Some art therapy students:

Chelsea She is inspiring and active in her community. Plus she just shares uplifting honest comments on her life that makes you think about your own way of living.

Kelley . She has been sharing posts about her response art and self care journaling. Very cool stuff.

Donica. Funny, creative, and talented.

Taylor. This blog has just started, but I trust that it will be well-worth putting on your radar.

And cooks:

Smitten Kitchen. She constantly makes me drool and run out to the grocery store to pick up her ingredients. Oh my goodness. What yumminess!

Karina makes gluten-free goodness. YUMMY gluten-free food is not always easy to come by. Her recipes I trust.

Janet - are you kidding? I love your blog!

oh my goodness. Jess, I can't believe I left you out. A total mistake. However, I will make up for it soon, I promise! and I don't have the money for post secret books, but my internship site has a bunch... maybe when we look for gluten free goodies we can flip through secrets too!

D- same background. I think you have seen my other blog with a different one.
