Choose Glory

So I am following along with the art party at Angelia's Art Journals. I have some catching up to do, but this is my journal page for today's prompt: Bird On Wing Goes Floating By.

The original picture I used is of my cousin. Both his older and younger brothers killed themselves. I can't imagine the pain he has gone through. It is amazing to me that he has chosen glory and is doing so well in life on his own. But then... he isn't really on his own, now is he?!

You made that? It's incredible! I love it so much! I can't imagine what your cousin has endured; I can only hope that it's given him immeasurable strength.

Through tragedy comes strength, and it sounds like your cousin's cup over flows with it. This a beautiful tribute to that.

You're the first entry in my SUMMER party! Thank you for participating. One of the things that I hadn't anticipated was that this party would give me the opportunity to meet some amazing people and be touched be touched by equally amazing artwork. Thank you for sharing this poignant page. I'm glad your cousing has been able to move past this tragic experience to find Glory. Big Hugs to you, dear Phoenix Peacock!

Thank you for all the compliments on the page. And yes, my cousin is very strong and gentle all wrapped in one.

An'Angelia, I am so excited to be a part of this. Hopefully I will continue getting pages done.
