Steal away, take off, vamoose, vanish...

I've already used "absconded" as a title. So I looked it up in an on-line thesaurus (shut up, I already know I'm a dork, thank you):

We've run off. Off to a little cabin up in the mountains. Its my birthday surprise, but more than that: it's time away. We will be lugging school books along - but it still seems less stressful when you are surrounded by snow and mountain air. With our busy work and school and internship schedules.... it feels like forever since I've just hung out with my husband. And since the little cabin has a hot tub too - there will be plenty of "just be" as well.
