Blitz von den Blauen Bergen

The best place to bury a dog is in his owner's heart.
Today I have to bury my beautiful boy Blitz.

The adorable puppy who stole my heart when we first met.

The sweetheart that could always convinced me to play with his favorite toy so that we could play fetch. Over and over again.
The one who always had his favorite toy on him to convince me with.

The excited dog who would go crazy over spotting a river, lake, pond, pool, or big puddle.

The loyal dog who would go with me anywhere just to be by my side.

Who always had some loving ready for me

Who put up with his silly humans.

My handsome boy.

Blitz. Blitzaroo. Blitzers. Bugaboo Boy Blitz. Voosevagen.
For all the silly nicknames, we loved him so.
With his radar ears that listened to every word.
Always eager to please with brains to boot. A German Shepherd to the "T".
He spoiled us with his quick training - what don't all puppies learn to do all their tricks and commands in just a few hours?!
Our little family just won't be the same without him.

But I know he is off to "the farm"
Where he has his own personal ball thrower, who never gets tired of playing.
Where there are plenty of squirrels to chase.
And no leashes to hold him back!
Where he gets steaks for dinner and an unlimited supply of comforters and pillows to sleep on.

God speed, my spirit dog.
I sure am going to miss you.

I'm crying right now as my heart breaks for you and your family. I'm so sorry for your loss. I know that unbearable pain. I know Blitz is up there in heaven with my family's chihuahua that we lost a couple years ago. If there is anything I can do just let me know. I am here for you. Sending you lots of love, hugs and prayers of comfort during this difficult time. I love you Phoenix! xo

I'm crying right now too... i mean huge tears down my cheeks, like oprah would say, an ugly cry. I know how much your handsome boy meant to you and your husband and your family. I also know how much it hurts to lose a pet who's the love of your life.

bless your hearts! just know that he's playing and running with our family's chihuahua mooshie.

and if there's ANYTHING you need, you know i'm here and you know my heart aches for you.

xoxo
