Easy peasy pallet christmas tree
if you are cheap like me and refuse to put a pretty pennie to buying a christmas tree
this is a fun, easy, and FREE way to be festive.
Step 1. Score yourself a pallet.
Step 2. Pull it apart.
Step 3. Paint those bad boys
Step 4. Cut them in decreasing lengths for a tree-ish shape
Step 5. Nail it all back together. Only really needs on nail per limb.
Step 6. Sand it down
Step 7. Display and decorate.
Step 8. Eat lots of cookies and have some spiked egg nog.
PS. step 8 is the most important. if you have not done this, you have not properly made your christmas tree.

wow! such a great idea and beautifully executed too. well done. Happy PPF.
I started the instructions backwards and repeated #8 so I will go to number 7 maybe tomorrow LOL Great project! Lovely tree
That is just about the most festive tree I have seen in ages... and I am thinking I should skip straight to step eight because I am rubbish with hammer and things and would probably injure myself.... step eight has my name on it though!!!! Spiked egg nog here I come.... it is summer here in Australia though so I may pop a little umbrella in it so it looks seasonally appropriate...xx
I love this post! What an inventive Christmas tree and your step by steps are brilliant (may have to substitute the egg nog with mulled wine or spiced cider but it'll still work!)
Quite possibly the coolest Christmas thing I have seen yet! Pass the egg nog!
Your TREE is fabulous!!!! Happy PPF!
How fun! I'm actually addicted to home made stuff on Pinterest and can't get enough of it. :) I kind of feel sorry for all the trees that are being cut down for decoration so we have this plastic tree instead of the real one.:) It's been with us for ages. But if we didn't I'd be making it out of a pallet. :)
