My Mommy is turning 60 this February.
She is treating herself to a trip to Paris, the city she loves the most, with a good girl friend that has been a part of her life since they were both young military wives.
She has been so excited and has been practicing her French. She knows the very important sentence of "May I have more wine please"
To add to her excitement I've been sending little notes counting down the days:
January is also full of birthdays for my family and friends. So out went a bunch of birthday cards. This one to my cousin, born one week before me, that looks exactly like she did in middle school. Too cute.
And the New Year also brought about a ton of engagements for my friends and family. So engagement cards went out as well.
the Nice Rock ones are my own... and I've given them as cards or as prints to the brides-to-be
Lots of lovely mail going out.
And I'm still home sick, so today I plan on sitting down and finishing some half-written letters to dear friends and family.

I love that you send cards and letters. I too am spending part of the day finishing up some valentines and birthday cards. I've found I send more than I receive, but hope they at least bring some joy to the recipient. Hope you feel better soon!

You are so sweet. I really stink at mailing things out, and I never write letters anymore. :( But, I do send art through the mail to my friends once or twice a year, so I hope that counts. lol
