portraits of a different kind

I took a couple hundred photos on a solitary artist date I took myself on to the Denver Zoo.
Here are a few I thought worthy of sharing:

the bear isn't as good of a photo, but I like his big grin:


The quality of this photo of the monkey isn't good either. 
But it was just so darn cute. 
A toddler was waving around a brightly colored toy and
this little monkey was trying his hardest to figure out how to get through the glass 
and snatch that toy for himself!

I have never thought of taking myself on an artist date to the zoo! What a fabulous idea! The pictures you took are amazing. I especially love the snow leopard - they in particular are my weaknesses. Every time I see them I think of my Dad. Come Spring I am going to take myself to the zoo! Thanks for the idea!
