And I'm linking back to Paint Party Friday! I've missed being a participate with such creative painters. Please check them out for some artistic inspiration.
What I'm sharing is my cute and absurd garden table.
Its been in my garden for a few years. A black side table with a lean to one direction that I picked off the curb. And it remained black with peeling fading paint until just last week. The makeover started with white paint overall to give the thirsty wood several layers.
Then teal, yellow, and pink were added. Some areas aren't really all that great - I painted it at night, while watching a movie, in a poorly lit room. But I figure its for outside and I'm too worried about getting it "just so".
And then I added the magic. Beer bootle caps full of design and splendor using beads, sequins, glitter, shells, etc and pouring medium.
The bottom shelf will eventually be covered in them.
and Thats what's making today a Happy Friday!

A fabulous transformation! My d.i.l. does things like this. I'll have to show her your post. Faye
what a wonderfully creative table ~ love the colors and the bottle caps that are dazzling ~thanks, namaste, ^_^
I just love what you did with this table. I always think I am going to do something creative and fun like that,I have collected bits and pieces for years, but never get the courage to do it..a bohemian living in a traditional body and world! What is a pouring medium?
What a great second life for that table! Love it.
Wonderful work you did here!!! You just inspired me to do something similar with my old stuff... now I just need to find the time ;)
Great Job! Have a great day!
