A couple summer's ago I was gifted the hilarious book Backcountry Betty.
Full of hints like if you are camping and hiking in, "distribute the weight evenly (that is, carry your water, trail mix, and sunscreen, and leave the rest to him.)" (pg. 11)

Great picture of the old barn. HB and I used to go camping all the time when we were in CO...we had 10 acres up near Cripple Creek and we camped there almost every weekend when the weather permitted.
